Head Coach Don Brown headlined the Third Annual Friends of Football Golf
Classic on Aug. 1, 2005 at the Haverhill Country Club. Check out the photos of
the foursomes right here.
The Friends of UMass Football is an organization that
provides assistance and service in order to help promote, strengthen and
develop the interests of the
UMass Football program through its membership.
A few examples of the assistance that the Friends of Umass
Football have made are:
The UMass Football Coach, Don Brown, and his staff were donated the funds to purchase The Pinnacle Sports System, a digital video editing, analysis and team training tool. It is the
same system used by most of the National Football League teams and many of the major NCAA-1A programs, such as Ohio State and Southern California. UMass is the first A-10 school to have the system.

Funds were made available by members of the Friends to improve and update the Athletic Weight Training and Conditioning Room under the supervision of Coach Bob Otrando.
This facility is among the most complete and advanced conditioning rooms in the East.
The next big project is the McGuirk Alumni Stadium Renovation Project which is a three part program.
1. Installation of a state-of-the-art artificial playing surface.
2. Installation of permanent lighting tower system.
3. Installation of artificial playing surface at the Gladchuck
Practice Facility
